Cal Hilsman, LISW-CP/S
Compassionate Acceptance for Life (CAL) was founded by Cal Hilsman, a Licensed Independent Social Worker Clinical Practice and Supervisor (LISW-CP/S). Cal specializes in providing comprehensive mental health psychotherapy. Cal, an alumnus of Warren Wilson College (BSW) and the University of South Carolina (MSW), has honed his skills in diverse settings, including the University of South Carolina Counseling and Psychiatry Center, Carolina Survivor Clinic, and several other notable mental health facilities. His practice is grounded in a humanistic approach, enriched by advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Experienced in treating the client within a larger system, Cal offers a variety of services including individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy. Cal also works as an adjunct faculty instructor of Social Work for MSW students in the University. Living in South Carolina with his family, Cal's diverse life experiences, including environmental conservation, college tennis, and community outreach, enhance his ability to connect and provide tailored therapy to his clients.

Daniel Jeng, LPC
Daniel holds a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Augusta University, where he honed his expertise in guiding individuals towards mental wellness. With a rich background in counseling diverse populations, Daniel passionately believes in fostering compassion and acceptance for all. Born into a refugee family in the United States and raised by a single parent, Daniel intimately understands life's challenges and approaches therapy with empathy and insight. He customizes each therapeutic journey to the unique needs of his clients, drawing from a skillful blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) techniques. Through his compassionate guidance, Daniel empowers individuals to navigate life's complexities with resilience and newfound clarity.

Terri Hallman, LISW-CP/S
BA in Psychology and Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina and has worked as a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with diverse populations and in multiple settings, including community mental health, school social work/mental health counseling, and a developmental pediatric clinic. Terri is able to build a trusted connection with people due to the many experiences in our local community for the past twenty-five years, where she and husband raised a nineteen and twenty year old (a daughter who is an athlete and studying pre-med/chemistry/spanish at Wofford College, and a son who is a talented musician living in Boston). Terri continues to pull from her deep clinical background to give high-quality therapy that targets client's specific needs.

CeCe Musgrave, LPC
CeCe is a skilled and compassionate therapist with over a decade of experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. With a strong foundation in social justice and evidence-based care, she has served diverse communities through her work with refugees, vulnerable youth and families, and adults facing a range of mental health concerns. CeCe brings expertise in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and polyvagal theory, and has held leadership roles as a clinical supervisor and manager in a large non-profit mental health agency. Now in private practice, she remains deeply committed to empowering individuals and families through thoughtful, relational, and trauma-informed care. Compassionate Acceptance for Life is proud to have CeCe on the team.
